In with the winners!

Hello!
My apologies to whoever was planning to link up their entries for the last challenge in the remaining couple of hours, and was bounced back with the message that the blog has been removed.
My account has been temporarily suspended, and my blogs disabled, in result of Google's fault.
The problem is solved now, and if you happened to be the unlucky player, please link your entry in the comments under the challenge post. I'll make sure to come to your blog and check out your beautiful creation. Thank you and I'm sorry for the inconvenience!

It was very hard to choose the winners for this challenge, there were so many awesome entries! In order to acknowledge the talent gracing our pages, and making up for the glitch, I chose not three, but SIX runner-up creations... enjoy!

Our winner for CSC73 is Sue from Inky Fingers!!

Can you just say CAS perfection?? The way Sue graduated the colours and aligned the damask pattern with the hearts is truly awe-inspiring. Then there's this gorgeous layout as well... well done, Sue, congrats!

Our Top 3 (Top 6) winners are:

Arlene @ Water Dots
Amanda @ Popper & Mimi
Virginia @ Yes, Virginia
Denisse @ Cards from the Heart
Michele @ Enchanted Stamper
Therese @ Lost In Paper

Congratulations!
Winners, feel free to grab your badges (right click & save onto your computer), and wear them proudly :)

See you tomorrow for the new challenge!

And the winners are...

Hi there! Thank you so much for joining us this week, the gallery was full of amazing creations! Ready to get to know the winning cards?

Our winner for CSC72 is JJ Bolton from The Ribbon Girls!!

This is a CAS perfection with some serious WOW factor. The paper pieced balloon is just so fun, and the sentiment - oh, so punny! I love how JJ put the yellow 'lights' in the house as well, which grounds and balances the design perfectly.

Our Top 3 winners are:

Terri @ Just What I Do
Anja @ Scrappietoo
Jen @ Jenerally Speaking

Congratulations!
Winners, feel free to grab your badges (right click & save onto your computer), and wear them proudly :)

CASE Study Challenge #72

Welcome to our first challenge in the New Year!!
We're having a couple of announcements and 'housekeeping notes' this week so I'll get straight to it.
First of all, big thanks to our December Muse, Amy Sheffer, for providing us with fabulous inspiration!
Please help me welcome a new Muse to our Pantheon, Jen Rzasa! Jen has an amazing, bold and graphic style, that we're hoping will spark your creativity.

Here's a word from Jen...

My name is Jennifer Rzasa, and I am a 28 yr old music teacher (1st-5th grade). I live with my husband in MA, about 25 min outside of Boston. I love performing, skateboarding, playing video games, and crafting. I have pretty busy days- after work I often teach private violin/viola/piano lessons, but when I get come home I make sure to save time to play with paper! In addition to my card-making adventures, I also paint (mostly watercolor fashion illustrations), sew, make jewelry, and do pretty much anything else I can get my hands on!

You can find Jen at her blog, Our Change Of Art.
We're so thrilled to have her with us!

We are also facing a couple of changes in the Design Team - sadly we're saying good-bye to two of our valued Teamies today - Cristina Kowalczyk and Andrea Ewen. Their work undoubtely inspired many of you and they're going to miss them greatly here. Thank you so much for all your hard work, girls!!
Also, Julie Lacey is temporarily stepping down, to concentrate on her studies. She might pop in for a challenge every now and then, and the spot is always open for her, so we're definitely not saying good-bye this time :)

On the happier note, we are welcoming a new DT member, none else but Christina MacLaren!!
Christina's style is fresh and innovative, and we can't wait to start sharing her artwork with you!

I'm a 34 year old mother of 2 who recently returned to work after 6 years at home with my kids. I'm fortunate to have a wonderful job as a Laboratory Technician at a private college, where my husband also works as a Biology professor. I spent most of my life in the Midwest before we moved to Massachusetts 3 years ago, and I'm just starting to feel at home in New England.

When my daughter was born, I started working on scrapbook pages to document her childhood, but I quickly became too busy to keep up with it! I still complete layouts occasionally, but my real passion is making handmade cards. I've been card making and blogging for about a year and a half, and I feel so very blessed to be a part of this amazing community of crafters.

I am so thankful to Iwona and the entire DT at CASE Study for inviting me to join them! I hope that some of my creations will inspire you to play along each week!

After all of the above was said, it's finally the time to share this week's inspiration from Jen!

Let me remind you, that our challenge is to use the inspiration from the Muse above, to create a paper craft item, with your own, unique approach. You can be inspired in a multitude of ways, starting from the layout, through the colours, theme, or whatever else you find interesting.
