The CASE Study 1st Anniversary Blog Hop!

Yes!! CASE Study is turning One! It's been a terrific year and a truly humbling experience, being able to design along such a fabulous buch of Artists. We learnt a lot, got a whole lot of inspiration, and surely had a lot of fun too :)

On the 4th of August, we're holding a big celebratory Blog Hop, with our Designers and all but one of our amazing Muses, sharing with you what they do best! The theme of the event will be CASEing one of our DT gals - past or present, and you're warmly welcome to join in.
There will be a Linky widget as usual, where you'll be able to share your inspired creation, and the DT will have lots of PRIZES to give away! All you'll need to do is join in the Hop, and leave some love along the way... you won't want to miss it!

If you'd like to spread the word or announce your participation, copy and paste the HTML code in your sidebar's HTML widget:

We hope to see you here on the 4th!

Our winner for CSC49 is Karen from The Bald Dragonfly!!

Can you say breathtaking?? Karen designed her card around the same stamp set, but gave it a different, bolder look... and my oh my, does it pack a punch or what?! Not only the layout is beautiful in its simplicity, the stamping is flawless (look at this perfect alignment!), but there is just enough of pink to set it all off. I'm in awe, I'm sure you are too! Congrats, Karen :)

Our Top 3 winners are:

Theresa @ My Sassy Cards
Kristin @ Lily Beth Boutique
Anya @ Life Is What You Make It

Congratulations, ladies!

Winners... and welcome to the new Design Team gal!

Oh my word... you certainly enjoyed last week's inspiration! The gallery was AMAZING!! Thank you so much for taking the time to play along... it's always a pleasure to see such high attendance, and it's a great opportunity to learn something new from YOU!

Before I get to our winners, I would like to introduce you to another new DT gal, as I promised to do last week.
Please help me welcome the amazing Clare Buswell from Clare's Creations!

Hi, I'm Clare Buswell! I live in a small village called Athea in the south-west of Ireland with the love of my life Niall and our beautiful daughter Isabelle. Isabelle is four and starts school in September. (She loves to 'borrow' little crafty bits from me and make her own cards too!)
I've always been creative in some form or another, I have a passion for painting and I've tried lots of different crafts over the years. I love quilling and making my own embellishments. I studied graphic design at art college. I only discovered stamping after the birth of my daughter when I had little time for painting but longed to be creative. Card making was the perfect answer for me as it satisfied all my creative needs. I design regularly for Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine in the UK. I also run card-making workshops in my local craft shop.

I love challenge blogs, they really help to push me outside my comfort zone. I'm really excited to be joining the team at CASE Study and to work alongside such a talented group! Thanks for asking me Chupa!
You can see more of my work on my blog,

http://clare-buswell.blogspot.com/

Clare, along with the two more wonderful Teamies - Cristina & Amy, have made it to the Top 15 in this year's Gallery Idol! We're very proud of them, and we hope that you'll take the time to cast your votes too. You can find the contestants' entries here on Paper Crafts website. Every vote helps them jump to the next round! :)

Now, let's get cracking with the winners!!

Our winner for CSC48 is Amanda from Stamp In Style!!

What an amazing design that is... does the addition of red pack a punch or what??! Classy and elegant, yet so girly and soft, this card is a pure delight. It makes me want to pull out monochromatic stuff and CREATE away!

Our Top 3 winners are:

Angeline @ The Creation Of Creativity
Jo @ The Crafty Crafter
Jinny @ Soaring

Congratulations, ladies!
Winners, feel free to grab your badges (right click & save onto your computer), and wear them proudly :)

We had a sponsored challenge this week, and the winner of $10 Gift Certificate to the Really Reasonable Ribbon store is...

Congrats Holly, that's you! Please email Bonnie at reallyreasonableribbon(at)gmail(dot)com, to redeem your coupon code :)

Tomorrow brings a new challenge, and a portion of inspiration from our incredibly talented gals... won't you join us?

Winners... and a new Design Team member!

We had another AMAZING week here at CASE Study, thanks to you! So much inspiration... you clearly enjoyed working with Dawn's card, it makes me very happy.

Before I get to our winners, I would like to introduce you to our new DT member. As you know, we had two ladies stepping down at the beginning of this month, and as much as we're sad to see them go, there are some pretty awesome designers filling in their shoes!
One of them is Debby Hughes from Lime Doodle!

Hi, I'm Debby Hughes, a stay at home mum of three. I've always loved paper, pens and art supplies but fell in love with card making about 6 years ago. I found that being creative was a great way to unwind after a hectic day with three young children.
When the children were small I used to craft in the evenings but now they are older and all at school my evenings seem to revolve around being the family taxi service so I try and grab a little time during the peace and quiet of the school day.
I started my blog (
www.limedoodle.blogspot.com) almost a year ago as a means of recording and sharing my projects but not really expecting anyone to pop by. However, from that first day I found a community of like-minded people many of which are now firm friends.
Over the last few years I have found challenges a great way to spark my creativity and as a long term follower and participant of the CASE study challenges, I am thrilled to be joining the team.

I hope you'll join us in welcoming Debby to our family :)
Keep an eye to an announcement of another designer, next week.
(and to spice up things a bit more, let me add that our first anniversary is drawing near, and we've got some exciting things in store for you! Details coming soon)

Our winner for CSC47 is Rosemary from Hey There Rosigrl!!

I love the striking effect of the boldly coloured flowers, against the white background. I love the ribbon treatment, and how the olive green adds to the colour palette. Lastly, it's just such a perfect clean & simple design!

Our Top 3 winners are:

Lea @ Lea's Cupcakes & Sunshine
Anja @ Scrappietoo
Vickie @ For the love of all things stampin'

Congratulations, ladies!
Winners, feel free to grab your badges (right click & save onto your computer), and wear them proudly :)

Please join us tomorrow, for a fabulous new challenge, and a dose of inspiration for our exceptional Teamies!!

CASE Study Challenge #47

Well hello, inkers! You certainly did your best with the sneaky peek yesterday. So, to those of you who guessed that our July Muse is Dawn Woleslagle from WPlus9, congratulations - you guessed right!
We're so happy to have this talented lady joining us for the whole month... take it away, Dawn!

Professionally, Dawn has been an graphic artist/designer for over 13 years. However, her love of art began as a child while sewing with her mother, creating pottery with her grandmother, and teaching herself to oil paint by watching Bob Ross. "And here lives a happy little tree." Sorry, I couldn't resist. It wasn't until she was an adult that she realized she could earn a living doing what she loved through graphic design.

She was introduced to paper crafting by way of a stamp club party. Little did she know how much she would come to love the art of card making. When she realized that she could combine her love of graphic illustration and stamping, Wplus9 Design Studio was born. It was a match made in heaven.

"I am absolutely in awe every time I see a creation in blogland or gracing the pages of a magazine using stamps that I designed! It is the most rewarding and exhilarating feeling in the world. I am truly grateful to each and every person who supports Wplus9 and look forward to providing high quality stamps and accessories for as long as you all will have me!" ~ Dawn

Visit Dawn at www.stampawaywithme.blogspot.com.

Here's Dawn's awe-inspiring creation for this week:

Before I get into our Design Team's creations, I've got to share some sad news... Lenet and Melyssa are unfortunately stepping down this week. We're going to miss you and your amazing creations, ladies! Their shoes are going to be filled shortly, so stay tuned for the announcement!
